The Ammarnäs trout is very important to us as a resource, and ALL trout must be returned to the river.
The fishing is totally reliant on a local and natural fish stock. Regulations and catch restrictions are there to ensure the continued existence of the wild stocks. A total ban on trout fishing begins at September 21th, when the trout begins to spawn. But you are still allowed to fish for grayling.

Please treat all fish with huge respect and handle them with care, for our future generations!
